The play takes place inside a gallery setting, focusing on "Here" and "Now"—two living, sentient characters who are actually trapped inside a painting. As museum visitors pass by, the dynamic double-act humorously navigates their surreal existence, observation, and the absurdity of being frozen in time as artwork for public consumption.

Described as being about a "normal" family, though the family's idea of normal behavior is completely dysfunctional. As the play progresses, maintaining even a veneer of normality becomes trickier and trickier as other eccentric family members descend on the stage.
